The app

How does it work?
  1. Add your programYour current tier and renewal date.
  2. Set a goalPick a tier and a year. The app tracks the gap.
  3. Log flights and book runsWatch the credits climb, and the cost per credit fall.
Which programs are supported at launch?
Qantas Frequent Flyer. Velocity and Delta from 2027.
Does Status Runner support the changes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program from 8 December?
Yes. Your plan counts both changes that start on 8 December, Status Credit rollover and Status Credits on the Ground, and the single credit target for each tier from 2027.
When does the app launch?
December 2026, on iPhone and Android. Waitlist members get early-access builds first.
What does it cost?
Like all the best things in life, Status Runner is free.
How do you work out cost per credit?
We price status against what it actually cost you. Other tools lean on a market average for a point or a credit, which is close to meaningless for any one member: no program publishes a price, and the valuations online are estimates that disagree with each other and average other people’s travel rather than yours.
Fare paidThe total charged: base fare, taxes and carrier charges
Points usedThe points pro rata, valued at what they cost you, and the cost of any taxes and carrier charges
Cost of a pointFrom your own cards: annual fees and earn rates against your spend
Credits earnedWhat that fare class earns on that route

Cost per credit = (fare paid + cost of points used) ÷ credits earned

Two people in the same seat can see different numbers, and that is the point: the inputs are yours to set, from the cards you hold to what your points cost you, and every figure on the screen follows from them.

Valuing what the tier gives back, lounge visits, upgrades and bonus points, arrives in 2027, with suggested values you can accept or adjust.

How do you handle my data?
Your airline loginWe never need it. You enter your tier and credits; the app forecasts from there. Your airline account stays yours.
Your cardsWe track annual fee dates, exclusion periods, and bonus eligibility so you’re never stung with a duplicate annual fee or miss a card’s annual fee date.
